3 Months and still haven't figured it out.

It is amazing how many baby things you learn and need to learn with a new baby. I am sure that there are many things that I do not know. However, men seem to take a little longer than women in this area. Yes that is an over-inclusive generalization. B regularly asks me "what cry is that" or "what do you think he wants". Othertimes he is changing Little B into PJs but really they are not PJS but just another outfit, to which B replies "those aren't PJs?". But the topper was when I was in the shower this morning and see a funny looking wash cloth in the corner. B had given Little B a bath yesterday. I pick it up and see it is NOT a wash cloth but a burp rag. Yep, 3 months later and we are still learning.

We got the giggles!

Minnesota

From NC to MN

After visiting the Shaks Noah and Mom headed to MN to visit Grandma and Pa. We spent a lot of time with the Preislers. Noah had a lot of firsts this trip. He had his first: airplane blowout, real Minnesota snow, toy ride at the mall, Easter Egg coloring, St. Patrick's Day, experience with cabbage, taste of ice cream, visit to UST law school, tour of downtown Minneapolis, and taste of catelope. We cannot wait to return to MN in May for Mom's graduation!

North Carolina

Last week Noah and I had the chance to visit my best friend Kari, her husband Steve and their two daughters Jaeda and Kalea in North Carolina. It has been two years since we have been able to spend a decent amount of time together and although we were there for only three and half days we had a lot of fun and were blessed to be able to spend time with them. Kalea and Noah took quite a liking to each other and would make eyes, coo, and smile at each other. When they were laying next to each other they enjoyed holding hands. Jaeda was excited to have a little boy around the house and gave Noah all sorts of love. We have a ton of pictures and embarrassment for Noah and Kalea in years to come. We miss the Shaks already and cannot wait to see them again!

Everything Goes In the Mouth

Noah figured out his hand to mouth coordination today. He's been working on getting his hand and thumb into his mouth for a week or so now. Last night he took Brian's finger put it in his mouth and starting gnawing away. Today after his morning bath he was grabbing the towel and was shoving it into his mouth. Then tonight Brian was out and Noah and I were home alone. I was working on a paper and he was in his swing. He started to get fussy so I brought him Mr. Giraffe, his favorite stuffed animal to hold under his arm and a new rattle. His first rattle ever. I put them in his hands and arms and went back to typing away. All of a sudden I heard the rattle. I turned around and looked and he was waving it in the air. Then he shoved a little part of it in his mouth and began chewing on it. I grabbed the camera and got this video (although its sideways)! He is getting so big.

Bradley Kids

We had the first four babies and their parents over from our Bradley class. The babies are in order from first to last born: Noah, Olivia (5 days younger), Kate (1 month younger), and Connor (1+ month longer).
