Play Date

Noah's friend Elijah came over to play today. They had a great time out side, putting on a show to Raffi, and coloring Easter Eggs.

Lydia is 7 months

Where has the time gone!? Its hard to believe that Lydia is almost on the go. She and Noah have an amazing relationship and bond developing that is very awesome and sweet to watch. She giggles like crazy when he plays with her and he is always trying to help her out.

What is Lydia doing?

  • Push ups and rocking on her hands and knees
  • Scooting Backwards
  • Eating her feet
  • Digging the Solids
  • Hating Bananas
  • Fussy to get to Sleep
  • Rarely napping (queen of cat naps)
  • Dancing
STATS
to be added later

Bathtime

Its much easier giving Lydia and Noah a bath now that she can sit up on her own. They love bath time where they can see who can out splash the other.

Lydia's 1st Food Experience

We started Lydia on some solids three weeks ago. She is doing much better than this video but her first response to solids was hilarious and she was not impressed.

Visit

A couple weeks ago TJ and Danielle came to visit. Noah had a blast spending time with them and I think they enjoyed their time as well.

twinkle twinkle

Noah loves to sing and play any type of music he can. Often times rather than going to bed he gives us an impromtu concert.

North Carolina

Brian, Lydia and I all had a chance to fly out to North Carolina to surprise Kari early for her big 3-0 Birthday. Some friends of the Shaks were gracious enough to allow us to use their mountain cabin for the weekend for some much needed R and R and fellowship. Although we were certainly not the romantic getaway or puppy Kari was hoping for I think she enjoyed the surprise. It was awesome to spend time with some great friends and see a boy from LA try to drive a minivan up a snow packed road.
