Time Flies On By

I feel like I've just blogged about Noah turning seven months and already we are almost two weeks past his 8th month birthday. Things have been busy here. I finished the bar and am waiting for results. We are praying that I passed but if I didn't which is a possibility we know that it is because there is something else that I am supposed to be doing in my life. When one door closes another opens. Noah is slowly adjusting to me being back at work. We decided to have Brian's dad Greg stay with us a little longer through the transition until we know if I passed. Then we will make the big day care decision. We are definately blessed that Greg is willing to give so much of himself to us.

Noah is a BUSY boy. He crawls.....everywhere! His MN Pa and Grandma were surprised to see how active this little guy is. Here is a list of other things Noah has mastered over the last month
  • Drooling - no teeth but drooling
  • Eating solids - the strike is over, as long as its not green he will eat it
  • Pulling himself to a stand
  • Crawling every where
  • Getting from the house onto the deck by himself
  • Playing tug of war with the dogs
  • Attempting to stand unassisted for a few brief seconds
  • Walking along furniture
  • Growling when he wrestles
  • Reaching for anything he can get his hands on
  • Playing in the dog dishes
  • Playing in the toilet - put the lids down if we are coming over
  • Feeding himself crackers, bananas, and Gerber puffs

I am in the process of putting together a movie of all his achievements to post. For now pictures will have to suffice. I have no idea how much he weighs or measures but maybe able to figure this out by my next post.

Another busy project here has been landscaping and gardening. Over Labor Day weekend B and I shoveled into wheel barrels and moved 7 tons of rock in 3 hours. Yes that was 7 tons in 3 hours. One of us even did it with Noah strapped on for over half of it. Here are some pictures....enjoy!

Isnt she healthy looking again?

GIRAFFES!!!!!!!!!!

Last weekend we went to the zoo with Evron, Judy, Eirian, Ian, Brendan, Greg and Eva. We had a good time. Ian and Eirian got to ride the ponies and Noah got to feed the giraffes. Noah absolutely loved the giraffes. We got a family pass so we can go back as many times as we want for the next year. Here are some pictures of Noah and his giraffe friends.

Grandma and Pa Visit From MN

Grandma, Pa and Noah

Noah picked a flower and got mom into trouble...he's already a criminal

I love my mommy!

Pa and Grandma never take their picture together...you think they could look happy sitting by eachother

Grandma is trying to feed me a bottle

Nap Time
Noah had lots of fun with Grandma and Pa. He was sick the first day with a temperature and got them sick for their Sturgis trip but we think they think it was worth it getting to see him. Noah showed off how he can crawl around fast, pull himself up, stick out his tongue and make all sorts of facial expressions. For more pictures of our fun time together check out Ma and Pa Rangitsch's website on our list of links. Thank you for coming out and spending time with us.

7 Months

Somehow we ended up with a 7 month old.

Noah weighs 19.5 pounds and is 29.75 inches long. He has slowed down a little on his weight gain and length. He can crawl backwards, pull himself to standing, go from sitting to crawling position, eats egg yolk, rice cereal, sweet potato, avacado, and yogurt. Noah is growing so much. He has much more hair but is still looks bald because its so light. Also still no teeth although we drool a lot and chew on everything....including our tongue.

New Tricks

Noah has some new tricks up his sleeve. He crawls....but only backwards. And he likes to pull himself up from sitting to standing. Our baby is turning into a little man rather quickly. Pictures to come......
